Introduction
Our flexible, modular 20-credit framework offers a wide range of choice of areas to study within the field of education. The emphasis throughout the course is on providing you with a challenging and stimulating educational experience where you can share ideas, extend your understanding of the field of education, think critically about education across the globe and enrich your own practice.
Delivered through a blend of face-to-face teaching, online teaching and independent study, there are various choices of routes and specialisms with full-time (one year) and part-time (two year) study options for home students. International students enjoy a full-time (one year) learning pathway, offering both opportunity and challenge to extend knowledge, critical enquiry and explore UK and global approaches in your own area(s) of interest.
We are proud of the diversity of our students and welcome the richness that comes with the differences in experience our students bring to the course. We welcome students from across the world as well as from our local communities: schools, colleges, health settings and higher education institutions. We recognise the wealth of experiences, both personal and professional, you bring to the course.
